I didn't have much time to try this product when i got it at home so I decided to bring it at work.I'm in the healthcare industry and performs some lifting almost everyday.So when i got my break,I plugged the product right away to try it and...PRESTO!...this is great!plus the amount of heat coming from the rotating balls (2) is just enough to give you that nice feeling. Since then ,whenever I feel that stiffness at my lowerback, i use it!In fact ,I"m using it right now as i make this review!Wonderful! -- highly reccomendable
I bought it for my husband, who has chronic lumbar pain and he loves it. In fact so did my mom, my brother and myself. It was a huge hit for everyone that had to travel for Christmas. We felt really relaxed after using it to work out our travel cramps. -- The whole family loved it.
I bought this for my wife for Christmas. It works good enough. Doesn't work on your neck so well and needs to be laid on to get best results. Didn't live up to the hype of the previous model (now discontinued) but in the end it is pretty much what you can expect. A solid, not very intense, shiatsu massager, that saves my hands the soreness of constantly giving massages :). -- Good not great
Just got this from Bed Bath & Beyond as well (don't forget your 20% coupons!) and have been using it the past few days. It's nice and forces me to sit up straight rather than slouch. Not sure what the first reviewer is talking about but everything is good for me. The heat works well too. In fact, I was using it early this morning as I had to do some work from home - it was awesome.
My only complaints are:
1) It can get a *bit* irritating at times and I feel like I may need to eventually put a towel or more padding in between my back and the unit.
2) I don't know if this is meant to be left in the chair, even though I have, because it usually falls over. Wish it at least had a velcro band/strap to tie down (it actually has a velcro strap but that's only for the power cord).
Otherwise, this is a great unit! Not sure if it's supposed to be used in a lying position (or on other furniture) but I'm sure it could work. Just be careful that you don't hurt yourself. -- Works great!
This shiatsu massager works great for me. It's the same shape as the lumbar pads used for officechairs but has the added bonus of shiatsu massage AND heat (I don't know what went wrong for the first reviewer but the heat works and the shape hits my back just fine). It has the same shiatsu quality as the full back massagers from Homedics but lacks the bells and whistles because of its size and lower price. I like it because I am always leaning over my laptop doing work and this helps get the kinks out. -- works great
