User Reviews

You can say what you want about this product, but I LOVE it! I have had Plantar fasciitis since last year, and no matter what I did, it was amazingly intractable. Until I tried this! It got rid of most of the pain within two months! I can run again! Trust me, frustrated runners are very annoying people. Now, I'm happy and my whole family is relieved. After I run, the pain flares up a little, but I use this for a little while and it goes away again. The coating does rub off the little balls, and the massage is not relaxing in any way, but if you, too, are a runner suffering from plantar's fasciitis, then try this product. -- I can run again!
I purchased one, it lasted 10 minutes, then the motor burned up. I followed the directions, its just poorly made with cheap materials. VERY low quality. -- Waste of money!
I've owned both the Homedics version and the Sharper Image version. The massage and heat functions are practically the same for both versions. I bought the Homedics version first because it was cheaper. However, it overheated and stopped working within a couple of months. The Sharper Image massager shuts off after 20 minutes of use, so there is less of a chance that it will overheat. If you are careful about how long you use it, the Homedics one will be OK for you. If you don't want to worry about overuse, you might want to go with the Sharper Image version. -- The Sharper Image version has an advantage.
Such a shame. When this works, it is quite nice, the warmth it puts out is very pleasant and the rotation of the beads do feel nice.

Problems with it, it doesn't take much before the motor comes to a stop, a little to much pressure on the beads and it crawls right down, so you do have to even out where you place your feet. The beads also were very quick to lose their silver coating which was a little nasty.

The motor also burned out after a short while, a few months or very infrequent use. For the money it just isn't worth it and the 2 year warranty is a waste of time as you have to pay for return shipping as well as the cost of sending it to Homedics, with original box and receipt. -- Quick to break
This is a worthless piece of equipment. You can see with many items where they intended something useful and then they don't engineer it properly. This unit defies description. -- Why would anyone construct such a device?
