The Oster Stim-U-Lax truly is a professional grade massager, it is heavy duty with high quality construction. I own a few Oster products that were purchased at least 20 years ago and they still work like new. It appears that the quality of Oster's products is still top notch if my new Stim-U-Lax is any indication. I got tired of buying the cheap plastic drugstore massagers that you can barely feel or that burn out in a year. A friend of mine owned a Oster and let me try it out, after just one use I was sold on it and ordered one of my own. If there is any downside to the unit is that is a bit heavy, but I only have to use it for few minutes to get the pain relief I need for my bad neck. The cheap massagers took at least three times as long to get to the same level of relief if they could even get to that pain relief level at all. It is an expensive unit, but it should last for many years if not decades and it will pay for itself in the long run by not having to replace it for the forseeable future. -- Oster quality is still great!
Got this for my husband for father's day and the whole family loves it. It is hard for someone with large hands to use but for a woman's hands or teenagers it works just fine. Gives a great relaxing massage and it feels really well built. Would recommend (and have) to anyone. Great product!! -- Awesome
This gives a great, great massage, it is not too hard to use, but it is TOO heavy. So it is okay to use, but heavy in the hand and wrist. -- feels great - too heavy
I first experienced this unit at my barbershop and I knew then I had to have one. The only criticism I might offer is that it vibrates a lot and some people might find it a bit uncomfortable on their hand while giving a massage. I can also say that I have used this on a few people, and no one thinks this isn't the most relaxing massager they have ever experienced. If you have tight shoulders, this is the device to get. Use it on your head and your headache will disappear.
